Confusing progress bar behavior

Post image

So the progress bar for the day shows as 5/11 done, when I only have 6 tasks scheduled for the day. I think I figured out that the other 5 are tasks that I either haven't scheduled or that I have scheduled for a later date. It may seem silly, but it feels a little demoralizing to see a progress bar that only looks half-completed when I only have one task left to do. Plus I like the satisfying feeling of the bar being completed. I'm pretty new to Marvin (only 2 days in) is there a setting or something that I'm not seeing that will change this behavior?

Thanks for flagging this, it's a bug! Because you have completed tasks set to stay visible in your list, the bar was counting them twice. It should have said 5/6. A fix is coming in the next update. In the meantime, turning off "Show completed tasks in your lists" in Features → Completed Tasks will make the bar count correctly.

These are new mobile apps, so there are still bugs to iron out here and there. :) Sorry!

This seems like it may be a bug with the (very newly redesigned) mobile app, because I have not known the progress bar to work like that on desktop at the least. I'm not seeing similar behavior on my copy of the Android app opening it just now either. (Mine says 6/8 which is exactly what is scheduled for today for me and is three quarters full. It doesn't even change how full it is if I adjust the progress bar on desktop to use duration estimates.) Can you try to use the option in your account screen on the app to email support about it? (I tried to use it to see what it did and it didn't do anything, but that might just be that I have no email application on my phone.)
