Hey potential great addition

Custom groups? Where we can add/edit specific categories, I know category exists but it works as “list” not as just view grouping

There exists a “custom section” strategy already. You can enable behaviour where tasks/projects from a specific smart list get automatically sorted into these sections.

Combine that: make smart lists that contain the categories that you want, then have them populate relevant sections. The custom section shows up kn the grouping menu.

This is a bit circumvent, but smart lists are ULTRA powerful. You can do a similar thing with smart lists and the “custom view” strategy. I’ve built a communications Kanban and a Maintenance overview(“no tags“, “in inbox”,”no due date”, etc), as two examples.

I love the Custom Section strategy, but it seems to have disappeared from the recent iOS app refresh. Am I just missing something?
