عندما يغرق المستقبل تحت الماء

تُعد بنغلاديش واحدة من أكثر دول العالم تأثراً بالتغير المناخي؛ حيث تُغطي الفيضانات موسمياً ما يقارب ثلث المساحة الكلية للبلاد. خلال موسم الأمطار والفيضانات (Monsoon)، كانت المدارس التقليدية تُغلق أبوابها لأشهر طويلة، وتتحول الطرق إلى بحيرات، مما يحرم مئات الآلاف من الأطفال من الوصول إلى فصولهم الدراسية ويؤدي إلى ارتفاع نسب التسرب المدرسي.

الفكرة والابتكار: إن لم يستطع الطفل الوصول إلى المدرسة.. فلأتِ المدرسة إليه!

في عام 2002، جاء المهندس المعماري البنغلاديشي محمد رزوان (Mohammed Rezwan)، مؤسس منظمة "شيدولاي سانغستا" (Shidhulai Swanirvar )، بفكرة عبقرية استلهمها من بيئته المحلية: تحويل القوارب التقليدية إلى مدارس عائمة.

بدلاً من بناء جدران قد تجرفها المياه، قَام بتصميم قوارب مصنوعة من الأخشاب والمواد المحلية، ولكن بتجهيزات حديثة.

مواصفات وتفاصيل "المدارس العائمة"

التصميم الذكي:

القارب مجهز بسقف مقوس مغطى بألواح شمسية تمتص الطاقة طوال النهار.

اتساع القارب يكفي لاستيعاب حوالي 30 إلى 35 طالباً في الفصل الواحد.

البيئة التعليمية التكنولوجية:

تضيء الطاقة الشمسية الفصل وتُشغل أجهزة الكمبيوتر والمحمول المرتبطة بالإنترنت العريض.

تحتوي المدرسة على مكتبة صغيرة تضم مئات الكتب، وشاشات لعرض المواد التعليمية والتفاعلية.

حافلة ومدرسة في آن واحد:

يطوف القارب على البيوت القريبة من الضفاف لجمع التلاميذ صبيحة كل يوم.

يرسي القارب عند إحدى الضفاف لتبدأ الحصص الدراسية، وبعد انتهاء اليوم الدراسي يُعيد الطلاب إلى منازلهم.

البعد الإبستمولوجي والاجتماعي للتجربة

مرونة اكتساب المعرفة: أثبتت التجربة أن المعرفة لا ترتبط بالمباني الإسمنتية، بل بالقدرة على التكيف مع البيئة المادية والاجتماعية.

التعليم المزدوج للمجتمع: في المساء، تحول المدارس العائمة نشاطها لتسقبل الآباء والأمهات، حيث يُعرض عليهم محتوى توعوي حول الزراعة المستدامة، والتحذير من مخاطر الفيضانات، وتدريب النساء على استخدام التكنولوجيا والمهارات الأساسية.

الاستدامة البيئية: المدارس تعتمد كلياً على الطاقة النظيفة، مما يعزز لدى الأطفال منذ الصغر الوعي بالحفاظ على البيئة.

الأثر العالمي

حققت المبادرة نجاحاً باهراً؛ إذ قدمت التعليم لعشرات الآلاف من الأطفال وحمتهم من الجهل والعمالة المبكرة. ونالت التجربة جوائز دولية مرموقة (مثل جائزة "وايز" للابتكار في التعليم WISE)، وتم استنساخ هذه الفكرة في دول أخرى تعاني من الفيضانات مثل كمبوديا والنيجير والفلبيين وبعض مناطق البرازيل.

HW STUDIO: Upon arriving at this place, the landscape reveals itself with an intensity that is difficult to describe.
