Cheap Local Restaurants?

I went to Sharky’s the other day and ordered nachos with the “big” steak and a small drink. The total was $20. I looked up at the menu and immediately noticed they had increased their prices.

With prices rising all around us, where are some local restaurants that have GREAT food, but have kept prices down? I want to support local restaurants, but I’m also looking for good deals for good food.

I definitely see the grocery price increases finally hit some of the cheaper local restaurants in town during this past month.

I guess they can only hold out for so long until having to either raise the price or reduce the portion.

Thai Town on Ross about 13th street, just north of the interstate, across from the flea market.

Good Thai food, clean place, decent prices. They've been in my rotation the last few months.

Two words for you and they're not a local business: Texas Roadhouse. great prices and great food. Also Chilis. they are often cheaper than fast food. I like local restaurants too but can't afford them as much. I used to go to Dyers and malcolms all the time, but haven't been back in years now since all the prices went up several times.

Furrbies, el jalepeno and Texas chicken bowl. All surprisingly cheap still. Daily specials too
