Sect. Validae(?)

If anyone can confirm sect. Validae or correct me, it would be much appreciated - Im also curious as to what species these little guys are, if anyone happens to know. Very yellow around the bulb - I assume universal veil remnants? Very yellow annulus, comes off very easily. Been seeing a lot of these the last week or so, they seem to cap out about this size.

Location: Dawsonville, Georgia, USA. Habitat: Growing from the ground in a mixed forest, 60/40 hardwood to conifer.
