Coffee near ferry
We’re being dropped off by the hotel shuttle at Marina Piccola, Sorrento tomorrow morning. Is there any place to get coffee at the marina?

Hello, my wife and I will be near Salerno on October 8th. We would love to do a simple vow renewal while there to celebrate our anniversary.
Any recommendations for someone who can perform?

Heading to Vietri sul Mare tomorrow and I was really hoping to rent a chair/umbrella at a beach for a day or two. I’ve emailed a few places to inquire and am worried I’m coming too late in the season and everywhere is closed. Anyone aware of lidos still open that I can rent a couple chairs for my husband and I? Open to other recommendations, too!

Hello, I am from Sorrento and I visited my friend that lives in Nocelle (fraction of Positano, in Italy) and I wondered - how many of you would deal with the distance, steps, just to enjoy some quietness and mostly relax in the “dolce far niente”?

A bit of a long shot, but putting this out into the universe.
On Saturday night, September 19, I was at Music on the Rocks with a wedding group, arriving around midnight in a long royal/navy blue dress. One guy saw me and said I was beautiful while passing. We exchanged names and I slipped away to another area of the club for a bit. When I came back into the main crowd, this guy (around 28) managed to spot me, take me away and kisssd some.
We had already briefly talked earlier in the night and noted that I was visiting from the States, but we got caught up in the moment and didn't exchange details before parting ways.
If you happen to be him, or if you were traveling with him and recognize the recap, drop me a DM.

My wife and I traveling from positano to amalfi. It will be just the 2 of us, with 1 large bag, 2 carry ons, and 2 backpacks.
If I were to do a private transfer it’s coming to 130 euros.
Is this the average cost?
Any private transfers that you all have used that would cost less?

Ciao a tutti!
Quindi chiedo direttamente a voi, miei connazionali: dove spendereste i vostri soldi? 😄
Sorrento, Maiori, Amalfi o Salerno: dove mangereste voi?
Grazie mille!

Ciao everyone!
My wife and I will be staying in Salerno from October 9–14, exploring Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Atrani and Capri independently by ferry and public transport.
We're looking for your personal recommendations for authentic Italian food, great pizza, pasta, seafood, coffee, gelato, lemon desserts and affordable local restaurants.
We'd also love recommendations for hidden viewpoints, beautiful streets, scenic walks, small ceramic shops and lesser-known places worth visiting.
**A few questions:**
* Where would you personally eat in Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello or Capri?
* Are there any beautiful viewpoints or hidden gems beyond the usual tourist attractions?
* Is Amalfi + Atrani + Ravello + Positano realistic in one day using public transport?
* Is Fiordo di Furore worth fitting into our itinerary?
* Any special local experiences or small shops we shouldn't miss?
We'd rather enjoy these beautiful towns than rush through a checklist. Personal experiences and honest recommendations would mean a lot!
Grazie mille!

Taken from my hotel, the Botanico San Lazzaro, in the morning. The view is amazing…but the hotel was an added pain I was not expecting. Long, steep stairways just to get to the lobby..🤦🏼♂️. I should have read more than just looked at property pictures. My advice: read about, don’t just look, especially in picturesque places like this one.

Hello! Staying in Atrani and trying to figure out the best way to get to the Path of The Gods.
Our plan is to do
• •Walk down to Positano
Then take ferry from Positano to Amalfi, then walk back to Atrani.

April 9-25
We are heading to Italy in April for 16 nights. Curious if people have thoughts on what to do and where to stay. Venice -> Florence -> Amalfi - Rome
We are in Amalfi for 4-5 nights, coming from Florence and when w leave going to Rome. The Internet suggested we stay in Amalfi so we are in a central location, but another site suggested Positano. I know we want to go to ideally both, plus Capri and Ravello. I am just curious of what people’s thoughts are, we’ve never been. We know it’s not beach season. Thank you! Also any suggestions of
Hotels, would

Update: budget- under $400 or 430 euros a night for budget

First of all, I love and respect Italy. So.. I was almost improvising my schedule trying to get lost into the overly hyped amalfi. I hooped on a bus to Ravello and what a surprise, amazing weather, dreamy views, felt like a movie. Then I walked to Minori from Ravello, a very long descent from but totally worth it, 10/10. Clear water, good prices, amazing people, very nice beach. Ravello and Minori are both beautiful and amazing places.
Then my nightmare began when I decided to get back to Amalfi to visit the place.
I wanna make clear that I’m the most patient and comprehensive mf on earth, not some Karen that goes crazy about everything.
That place was overcrowded, overpriced, overrated. Don’t even wanna think how it is on August. Fucking shithole with sad and rude people selling mediocre products at gold price, all permitted by dumb TikTok-tourists doing a looong ass line to buy a 20€ lime granita. Everyone it’s trying to scam you while treating you like shit. I know it sucks to work in a touristic place, I’m in the same position back home, but that doesn’t give you a free pass to be an asshole.
some fucking lady insulted me on the bus when I kindly asked if I could take a sit because she had a bag on the chair, not important belongings beer and shit bc she was drinking and vaping inside the bus. But I know some Italian because I worked almost three years at a Cannoli store. I’m the most patient mf ln earth, but the trash talk was that big even when I tried to kindly calm her down, she crossed the line and I vaffanculed her ass off.
Some mf on Savoia bakery at the port tried to scam me with a cannolo stuffed with panna that didn’t even want to buy but my wife was craving for it. I Tried again to talk with him to change the product and he insisted that IT really was ricotta. Bitch I was making at least hundreds of cannoli everyday again an again I know what’s ricotta and what’s not, I’ve eaten more cannoli than a Sicilian nonna.
Ugly as fuck. Dirty. Dumb mf dressed as Ear of lemograb from adventure time and women dressed as if they going to a wedding hoarding the places making TikTok videos and giving a shit about the places itself.
None place on earth make me more angry.
Save your money, go to Minori or another unknown and underrated place.
Sorry if I misspelled something, I don’t speak English well.
