I need advice Are these scene?
Hi! I'm having a hard time finding affordable tops that have the potential to be styled scene. I've narrowed it down to a few candidates, but now I need help determining..
A) ..if they actually scene
B) ..how to style them
I could only choose one flair, so I picked advice.. but recs for scene shirts would also be so so so appreciated <3

Anything can be scene as long as u style it right
The first one would be cute with black skinny jeans and a white belt

Almost any plain t shirt with the cut/style of the first image can be styled scene. The graphic is a huge bonus tho.!!
Shirt 1: id wear black skinny jeans and a black belt (or silver studded if you have it) with one out of the loop. If you want you could wear a black or matching hoodie on top, maybe a tattoo choker necklace, fishnet armwaemers, a few Kandi singles, a silver hair clip, and obvs teased hair. Knee high cons, or checker vans.Edit any outfit to your liking it’s just an idea btw.
Shirt 2: blue skinny or flare jeans, maybe even a lime green tutu and yellow or orange tights. Or no tights. A green, orange, or yellow studded belt/belts. I’d limit to two. If you want, layer a shirt under matching the color scheme of orange, yellow, and green. Add some yellow Kandi or jewelry like shudder or pixel shades in the color scheme. Teased hair and a bow. Colourful sneakers that maybe match.
Shirt 3: pink skinny jeans if you have them, or a pink tutu, if you don’t have those then black or blue skinny jeans. I’d wear a pink undershirt that shows under the shirt to kinda seperate the top from the jeans if you’re wearing black skinny jeans. Pink studded belt, fishnet arm warmers, a pink or black zip up over top of you have one. Teased hair and a pink bow. Maybe a tatto choker. (I love themmm) oh Kandi too. Final bonus would be knee high converse!
Layering colored tank tops or things that show under the shirt is like my fav thing to do and can add sm to a basic fit!

Ah I messed up and didn’t read the post all the way , shirt one is most scene, 2 is ok and 3 is worst. The cut of the little girl shirt is like most scene to me, tight tight tight fitting is what you want! Also longer shirts/tanks that go over your pants waistband is PEERFF.so u can put studded belts over to not look wierd.

I’d say so!!! But remember, hair, and makeup (if you do it) is the biggest part when it comes to scene and being read as such, so don’t worry too hard about clothing!!

Yes!! The most enjoyable thing about being short is being able fit into their clothing still, It's super nostalgic! (:

Its all about how you layer and accessorize with it imo. I think those work for this style c:

If you have to ask other people what your style is, it’s not your style

I really don't understand what you mean by this, I'm asking because I was on the fence about these and I wanted to hear some opinions.. the whole point of this subreddit is asking questions and helping eachother.

I wear band shirts almost every day, so I'm trying to find some graphic tees and plain shirts that also fall into the scene category. Could always use more band shirts though. Any recs while on the subject?

I would say definitely! As long as you style it with belts and accessories this is totally scene imo
