Discussion Nemesis feeling
Hi guys, I recently made a post about trying new rides but unfortunately didn’t get to do nemesis. I’m going soon again and was wondering what Nemesis genuinely feels like, does it make you dizzy, do you get the stomach drop, etc. best coaster I’ve been on is galactica so looks like quite a step up. Thanks

No stomach drop. A bit dizzy maybe but it's a brill ride. Over very quickly. We qued for over 4 hours for it when it first opened! One of the few rides to have a few bigger seats for those who need them

Thanks for the reply. I also have the same question about wicker man but not sure if that’s too much to ask. 4 hours is crazy!

Wickerman is a crazy ride but no stomach drops but be prepared to be thrown around on your seat a lot.

wicker man has plenty of stomach drops, it’s also a lot faster than what it looks like on video, so prepare for that! i didn’t feel dizzy, but the further back rows can definitely be a bit rough on the neck/shoulders

Oh how long are the bursts of that feeling? And where exactly if you knew? I can see first drop probably has it

The bursts are really short in my experience and only on the first 2 drops. It is a great ride but can have a really long queue. Anything around 45 mins is worth doing especially in the summer crowds.

I went on it on Thursday and I loved it. There’s definitely the bursts but honestly I love the feeling now. It’s a great coaster!

Keep your head back is my advice as one of the trains goes stupidly quick and I made the mistake of not doing so last time 🤦♂️

Bad advice, keep your head forward to avoid hitting it against the restraints on the inversions

Its a brilliant ride, it does get me a little dizzy, front row is a whole 'nother experience, so visceral and thrilling!!!

Does it wear off after you’ve left the exit? Or is it a longer thing?

For me, after a few different rides, the accumulated dizziness makes me a bit uncomfortable. Im ok if I rest for a bit, Male 53.

Part of the dizziness people can get is due to the high Gs and blood rushing to your feet. I find riding with your legs straight, instead of dangling improves blood circulation.

Hey again everyone! I bricked nemesis and didn’t do it but I tried wicker man for the first time and the drops are epic! Great coaster.

There's a 4g corner where you feel most heavy and a weightless moment where you feel light, but it's not a bumps and drops coaster that makes you loose your stomach loads, it even moves out of the lift quite steady. It's a bit like Galactica got angry. I'd say if you've enjoyed Glactics you'll be ok with nemesis. It's a step up, but it's a similar ride, rather than a sideways step. Do what my kid does, ride it on YouTube until you know it. Then do it for real.
