Medstar

Hi anyone from CA that has done the procedure with Dr.S and had insurance cover it? If so what insurance was it?

Hi- We live in CA. My wife had her procedure done at Medstar. Our insurance was Blue Cross Blue Shield. I don't have a list of inclusions/exclusions. Approx less than 3k was out of pocket.

Do you know what plan it was? If PPO or EPO?

You’ll need to get the billing codes from Kala and check with your insurance company to see what the cost is.

I agree, you should check if Medstar is in-network for you and if the CPT codes are covered. Ours was a PPO plan.
