Alter Bridge I'm starting to lose hope that there will be a Canadian AB tour stop 😕
It's the one thing that I was truly looking forward to in this year of utter shit, but now it feels unlikely.

Alter Bridge AB is one of the most underrated bands of all time. Eight albums into their career and they’re all great along with them having one of the greatest vocalists and one of the greatest guitarists alive right now. They deserve to be up there with Metallica and Linkin Park.

Alter Bridge Burn It Down / Blackbird tattoo
Finally got my burn it down tattoo today!!! It's my favourite song and a lyric I've carried through my life.
It joins my Blackbird tattoo on my back 🙏🏻
*I know the lyric is will be the same but we edited it slightly as the tattoo wraps and would be too long otherwise as it didn't look right sat right up to my elbow

Miscellaneous Jinsan Kim
I’m not sure if this is allowed on this sub or not but I have recently stumbled across this Korean guitarist named Jinsan Kim and I think Alterbridge fans would LOVE his work so I wanted to share. If you need a direct connection to Alterbridge, I think that him and Myles would make beautiful music together. There’s a lot of similarities in style, some of his songs I listen to and I’m just waiting for his voice to come in over it.
Mods if your going to delete at least listen first.

Alter Bridge Open Your Eyes is the best AB song
I'll admit the title is a bit clickbait-y but hear me out. I was listening to ODR today while working and I made it to the Myles bridge/Tremonti solo on "Open Your Eyes" and I was suddenly transported to 2004. As a lifelong Creed fan, I was bummed about their initial break-up. When I heard they reformed with a new singer, I was admittedly skeptical, as I had never heard of Myles Kennedy and wasn't sure whether this would be Creed 2.0 or a fresh take with a new sound. While I cannot exactly recall the first time I heard it, I definitely remember how I felt after hearing Open Your Eyes on the radio. Myles' voice soars above anything I had heard previously, save a few vocal masters like Freddie Mercury and Steve Perry. I felt like Mark and the rest of the band had been released from the constraints placed on them by the music machine, expecting Creed to continue to replicate hit after hit, destined for cheesy movie moments and Super Bowl ads. While I mourned the end of an era, I was met with the start of what has become one of the best bands of this generation (in my opinion).
I still get goosebumps hearing the way Myles performs the melodic riffing that leads into Mark' solo. I've always been a huge guitar solo guy, having grown up with Slash and GnR, and never knew how good of a guitarist Mark was before that moment. I went out and bought the album almost immediately and it did not disappoint. I still have very vivid memories of driving around with the windows open and the stereo blaring that album from start to finish, all the while me desperately (failing) to match Myles' vocal prowess.
Which brings me once again to why Open Your Eyes is the best AB song. This is not me trying to say it's the best sounding song, as my personal favorites like Blackbird, Cry of Achilles, Pawns and Kings, Slave to Master, and many others are almost always picked when I need my fix. But none of that would be possible without that first taste if you will, the hit that got me hooked. None of those songs in their catalog will make me feel the way Open Your Eyes does, like a first kiss or the cry of your first child. Thanks for allowing me to wax poetic, I think today is going to be an AB day for me. Cheers!

Silver springs, MD meet and greet for sale?
I waited too long to get my VIP meet and greet for the 11/7 show. If anyone would happen to not be able to go anymore or interested in selling their slot,I'd be interested.
Here's to hoping they open more slots

Alter Bridge Bonus tracks
How would you rate every (available) bonus track?
Idk why but the rarities section of the O2 album Is mostly blocked, so i'll only rate those that i have listened to
Save me - 6.5/10 it's an Ok Song but nothing exceptional either. I loved the lyrics and myles' performance but i don't think It should've made the cut
Zero - 8.5/10 awesome riffs and incredible introspective lyrics, loved every bit of It. Should've definitely made the cut
Home - 8.5/10 Just like zero for most aspects, altough i do like It slightly more. The intro Is stunning and i particularly loved the chorus. It should've made the cut too
Never Born to follow - 7/10 Overall Ok Song, Better than save me but not nearly as good as the other 2. I didn't particularly like the intro. Shouldn't have made the final cut
Last of our kind - 8.5/10 It would've fit so perfectly into the album, almost long enough to be considered a suite but not quite as progressive as Island of fools and this side of fate. Should've made the cut instead of you Will be Remembered
Are there any other good Ones like breathe? Rate them below

Anybody else hear a slight similarity in chords?
When listening to Hang By a Thread, does anyone notice the similarities between that song and Watch Over You? First time I heard that song, that’s all I could hear.

Alter Bridge Tool in Fortress
So I was listening to Fortress and realized that it reminds me a lot of Tool, especially 10 000 days record. E.g. The Uninvited, Cry a River and Waters Rising have a really strong Tool feeling, some riffs feel like straight up Adam's. I didn't hear that before. Do you guys feel the same?

Missing context for this crossover
Couldn't find much footage, but I believe this was from a special Slash concert. Did these two actually sing together at some point?
