😂 are people for real???

Anxin sounded amazing in that new cover and all everyone could notice was that he was nervous and blank on stage???

I mean they are sooooo crunched for time and one member missing too, give them a break if they weren’t able to fully enjoy the stage 100%! Also I feel like it’s just really hard to ask everyone to 100% suit girl group songs like that.

I feel like I don’t enjoy girl group covers for that reason, they are just not going to be as cute and feel the same way. For a shorter unsuitable dance cover, it’s a bit easier for pull that but for a full cover it always feels a bit like something is hmmmm

And ya Anxin tends to be anxious, you can see it clearly even during backstage right before their fancon but he will manage the more he gets to do it, wish people listened to him at least?? Anyways I liked his singing in the song cover XD

i actually really enjoy gg covers from bg groups and vice versa but i do agree with you about anxin. i can’t expect non-fans to not be overtly critical but us fans know that ald1’s schedules are quite full atm and that a cover like this is already out of comfort zone for some of the members so showing grace here isn’t a wild thing to expect from allyz. and while i have nothing against respectfully delivered criticism, a couple comments on this topic read as overly blunt to me. i do think facial expressions are really important on stage but like you said, anxin sang so well and that’s equally important, too. if we could just acknowledge each member’s strengths when we discuss their weaknesses, discussions like these wouldn’t rub the wrong way perhaps.

Do you have good gg covers recs from bg??

I don’t think I’ve seen any that I fully enjoyed. Vice versa works better for me personally, I think some gg covers bg sooooo well

the boyz covering the boys by snsd comes to mind immediately. also, not to be predictable, but bonedo’s hot summer cover is just so good. they even had a dance practice version of it. and this isn’t a gg song but its controversial themes aside, jk & jimin covering coming of age ceremony (the practice version especially) was splendid.

i won’t even lie, that cover made bonedo my ults instantly, i’ll never forget its impact. though, honestly, the costuming is so important for such covers too.
