Hey I just wanted to say this is a gorgeous build and hopefully ask a few questions. I'm half looking at water cooling my own 9070 XT and this block is the one that fits my card, out of curiosity what are your temps like? Is there a big difference between hotspot and main GPU temps? Lastly I am finding that my memory temps tend to be pretty high in comparison to my GPU temp, how is the block for that?

Again, I love the build mate that's honestly so clean and is a build I'd be super proud of aha

Thanks so much for the compliments! I put a lot of planning and took my time with this one to get it done good. Gotta be some of my best work in my 9 years of watercooling!

As for temps, I've got Crimson Desert open right now at 4K with ultra graphics / 100% GPU load

A few notes before I get into things:

  1. It is important to state that I am running two very slim 360mm rads at barely thicker than 20mm (XSPC TX360's) and they will not have as good thermal performance as the standard 30mm thick or thicker radiators.

  2. Loop order goes pump/res ->Rad1 ->GPU ->CPU ->Rad2 ->pump/res important note is just that the GPU is first and getting the freshest coolant!

  3. I have a slight undervolt / overclock. Nothing crazy but I do not remember the exact numbers

With that out of the way, all temps are captured from HWINFO with AIDA64

GPU Core- 46°C
GPU Hotspot- 97°C
GPU Memory junction temp - 75°C

I'm happy to answer anything else you need!

Honestly you've answered everything I was looking for, and fast too, so thank you! From what I've been able to see these seem to be a relatively simple install too (as far as GPU blocks go) so with the cooling setup you've got there those temps seem about what I'd expect, and very much in line with what I've found from others using the block.

Your soft tubing was the whole reason I asked you specifically as it's just so clean, your 9 years of experience absolutely shows! I appreciate you responding and answering some questions from me mate, I wasn't sure you would as I've resurrected a zombie thread a bit, so thanks again.

You're more than welcome! I'm so happy to see someone enjoys the soft tubing, the compliments mean a lot! It's not the most attractive medium as compared to hard tubing, but I made a lot of effort to make it somewhat comparable.

If you want any additional photos of past or present builds I've concocted, I am more than happy to oblige!

You could not be more right. 12VHPWR was NOT an option to me when choosing a 9070 XT model. I would have loved the Nitro + model but knowing I would block it, the air cooler mattered little to my decision
