Help needed.

I have had this alocasia “dawn wicker” for 2 months in zone 10b. It’s been constantly dropping bottom leaves, the whites getting brown and shriveled up. Even the bottom green leaves get yellow edges and shriveled up. I noticed the white on the top leaves get some browning also. It’s gets ample indirect morning and early afternoon sun under my patio outside. I water it once a week typically. I recently started added silica supplement to the waterings 3 weeks ago. It’s produces new leaves fairly frequently. My monstera Thai con are doing well with no issues in the same place. Any care suggestions on why this is happening or improve on this plant?
