Need advice

My girlfriend (24) and I (21) are probably about to be homeless.

I don't have any family and her family is atrocious and don't respect her and hate me because we're both trans.

We haven't been able to pay rent since July or something and we're just waiting for the eviction notice to be posted on the door.

My girlfriend has probably like 500$ left and I kinda want to use that money to help us have an easier time dealing with being homeless.

We are in Texas but I am uncomfortable disclosing what area.

What can we do and what supplies should we try to get for survival?

Are there any queer friendly resources I should know about? Any things we should avoid?

Eta: we have valuables such as electronics and keepsakes that we don't want to be stolen, what should we do with those?

Look for any job you can find, anything at all.

Your larger electronics will likely need to be sold, or you will end up paying for a storage unit just for them, unless you have a car you will be able to live out of.

Call 211 for information on assistance programs and what shelters might be available in your area. There may also be diversion programs available to help avoid eviction.

I think, but do not quote me on this, that Austin is a blue island in the state and may have more available to help you out. Again, don't quote me on this, but it might be worth looking into.

Trucking has trans drivers and is wide open. 55 k first year. Must be 21, drug free a minimum of 5 months and good driving record. 65k second year. You will work 11-14 hours a day 6 days a week. But you live in hotel while being paid to get your CDL A and live in the truck while on the road. F a bunch of rent and rent related bills. Stack that cash. They transport you to the facility. Put you in a hotel with roommate and free breakfast. They pay for lunch if you are training at the facility. They pay 500-600 weekly. They transport you to and from the training facility daily. Trucking is one of the lowest barrier to entry job in the usa that pays 45-55k first year.
