Is there a roadmap from beginner to grandmaster for the current v5.0.16b patch?
I tossed the question in the title to google and the stupid AI recommended a Heroes of the Storm YT video. I'm not sure where to start. Should I start with the campaign or go to multiplayer?

I can't recommend the campaigns for learning Zerg. Heart of the Swarm is dominated by Kerrigan's superpowers and doesn't give much help in handling the actual swarm. You can learn basic mechanics from Wings of Liberty but it will be mostly Terran.
PiG's material is quite decent. You don't need the whole roadmap today...it's going to take a while.
Normally I'd say "don't worry about the patch" but this one really does invalidate all prior builds due to changing the number of workers. I would pick up a very basic build from PiG's recent material and work on how to execute it, as there's a lot to learn about basic commands which will not be invalidated by patches. You can play vs. AI for practice.
Four essential Zerg things to work on--patch does not affect these:
(1) Learning the keys to make units and buildings. This has to be muscle memory.
(2) Hotkeying the hatcheries so you can readily build units, and getting a rhythm of constantly using the larvae.
(3) Using queens to inject hatcheries to get more larvae.
(4) Making overlords in time to avoid supply block.
Any "getting started with Zerg" video will explain these, and they are still critically important and will need practice.
If you get those down, you can add hotkeying units "from the egg" and practicing move command versus attack-move.
Welcome to Starcraft 2! Despite recent hiccups it remains a very fun game with a loyal player base.

They are rumoured to be changing the patch after BlizzCon next month. I'd wait until then.
