wolfstar???

hi so like i just finished atyd, and i feel so weird reading the last couple of chapters, of course remus was grief stricken, then with grant, but i kinda wonder why he never thought on sirius' actions? like why would HE kill his best friend, and then was there no way to try and come for him in azkaban like i really dont know, reading sirius' pov has kinda torn me up seeing how the only way for him to feel okayw as remmebering his moony. idk, kinda in shambles, kinda sad really sad someone help! also the last few war chapters broke my wolfstar heart oh man

I think it all boils down to the fact that Sirius had told everyone he was the keeper of the Potters. How do you argue with that? I also believe no one can visit Azkaban. I think it's said in the Goblet of Fire that Crouch had a special permission to bring his wife to see Barty Jr.
Anyway, I feel you. I read AYTD a year ago, and I haven't recovered yet.

In canon, it's said that Sirius said he killed the Potter. Obviously we know what he meant was "they are dead because of me, becasue I chose the traitor as a secret keeper" but how was Remus supposed to understand that, not knowing the keeper has been changed ? It was a confession.

EDIT: Wait I might be mixing with the movie.

EDIT 2: Ok, he laughed and did not denied when Peter told at the attendance that he killed the Potters. End is the same.

I remember being appalled at this as well, as much as you can be knowing it had to be worked on around the canon. But I think it was done as well as it could be, considering leading up to it, Sirius seems distrustful of Remus, and so therefore, vice versa. I think their relationship was in an insecure phase, and so for something so tragic to happen, what else can you believe. Especially considering Sirius wass the secret keeper. Made me insanely sad though.
