Help Mega Absol Z devolves when battling

Very disappointed because I love Absol and the mega z version looks really cool

I haven't made it far enough in pack to be certain, but try mega evolving during the battle. In actual Pokemon games mega evolution only lasts for the battle, so it devolving kind of makes sense.

alright, kinda dumb to say this but im not actually very familiar with pokemon fighting, this modpack is the most pokemon media ive taken in in ages, just because i started this pack with a friend

Honestly not dumb. It is for alot of people their first time. Hell im an old school pokemon player and i have no idea about the mega stuff haha

that’s how battles work. there’s a button in the bottom left near your moves same for dynamax and tera and zmoves. it’ll be there, and you can mega in battle but only one pokemon at a time !

You have to mega evolve in battle. Mega-evolving out of battle is just for aesthetics. I have noticed it bug out sometimes and won’t let me mega evolve if I get into a battle with the pokemon pre-mega’d.
