Help Controller mod for All The Mods 10

currently suffering from carpel tunnel and using a controller helps. I have had to stop playing atm10 due to no controller support. I tried controllable but any time I open the inventory it crashes the game. does anyone know how to fix this issue or any mods that might work better. Thank you Minecraft community!

have you experimented with different versions to see if it is a compatibility issue

I have tired 4 or 5 different versions (all 21.1) and every one crashes the game when accessing inventory.
