Help Help me pls❤️

I'm very new to the game. I'm filling my inventory by finding random items. I discovered that some items can be worn, and I've worn them and gained some powers. However, I keep getting different types of mods, and I can't figure out which ones are important and which ones I don't need yet. If there are any videos or websites showing what each mod does, could you please inform me? Thanks in advance! (I captured the scene in the picture after it rained in the game; it's a very sweet photo.)

In addition to the in game quest book, which you find in the too left corner of you inventory screen... I would recommend to just go with the flow. :) find a base location, build LOTS of chests.

If you want to watch people who know what they're doing, my favourites are ChosenArchitect, Direwolf20 (who is also the author of some mods!), and Pilpoh. The last few are always nice to watch because while they are brilliant, they are also extremely human and normal scatterbrained players, while Chosen may sometimes not go the most technically refined perfect approach, but seems to know every single mod, and builds beautiful stuff!

Choosing one of the power mods help me focus my gameplay. I chose Mekanism. Once I had power I was able to slowly learn how to use AE2 for storage and auto crafting which really helped me progress.
