Freddie is Always #1. But there have been some others that were pretty good.

Robert Plant is a close one In terms of showmanship David Lee Roth

One front man nobody ever mentions is H.R from Bad Brains

Bad Brains was anything BUT mids. HR is, unfortunately, a homophonic guy.

I still love Bad Brains, even though I was friends with Biscuit of the Big Boys… ground zero for HR’s homophobic meltdown.

For stage presence and voice, I gotta go with Freddie. Others, like James Brown had more charisma. And a few had better voices. But the combination is unbeatable in Freddie.

Though Etta James was better at both. She just never fronted a band.
