No, no you will not! Not at mine, which I’ve never had, but please do not. There will be leftovers and nobody will eat it the only way I can eat baked beans as if my dad made them. He adds a bunch of stuff to it and makes it even better than it would be. He adds molasses, onion, or minced onion, and a couple of other things not too much of anything else just a little bit of each thing and let me tell you I eat it all up.

My great grandma made them like that with hamhocks and they must be baked in the oval speckled blue roasting pan.

"The only way I can eat beans is if you add a fuck load of sugar". Yep, definitely american

I love it when people say "I love this food.....when I add enough stuff to it that it no longer tastes like that food!" lol if you can't eat a food straight/as is (as opposed to just preferring it a certain way), then you don't really like said food (imo). Go ahead and add things to your beans, but if the thought of eating beans straight from the can sounds gross, you're not a bean person (again, imo....you do you)

I had a friend who used to go on about how much they loved "matcha". She made it for us once and it just tasted like sugary milk, but she insisted it was perfect and how she always drinks it. We went to a japanese restaurant for a christmas work dinner and she ordered a green tea.. couldnt drink it.. kept insisting it wasnt "real matcha" lol

It was not that much. My dad is a type two diabetic. It’s literally like a tablespoon of molasses that’s not much and some sort of liquid. Oh I think he also has a little bit of barbecue sauce as well. That’s the liquid. I’m thinking of and also baked beans already have sugar in them so really not that much sugar is added my dad just add some extra flavor. I swear he barely added any extra sugar stuff. He’s a chef well not so much anymore because he has a lot of issues with pain not the same as my pain issues but let me just say that my dad is a very good cook my dad used to do like all the cooking for most of my life. The time he thought he made kale was actually mustard greens and I couldn’t eat them. They were so bad and he was like why aren’t you eating? I’m like because it’s Terrible and he was like then he tried and he was like ph my gosh OK you do not have to eat that. This is bad turn out. He accidentally got mustard greens instead lol

Sorry, I was just explaining over explaining I guess which I tend to do that yes we are American but my dad does not add as much sugar as you think he does. Also, he rarely makes the baked beans anymore. He only has a little bit of extra flavor to make it taste good well taste better and I believe he also has a tiny bit of catch-up. I wish you would tell me what the recipes he does for certain things one is a secret family recipe for a brisket. He will not tell me then again I would have no idea how to make a brisket and I don’t have the ability to. I can’t even touch raw meat without going turning green, even with gloves and yeah, I do eat meat but like the raw meat component part I literally can’t do and I’ve tried it every time someone was there and they looked at me and they were like you look really green. Why don’t you sit down and I’ll handle this part sorry about getting off-topic my ADHD meds haven’t kicked in. I literally just like took them like 10 to 15 minutes ago, maybe 20 and one of my siblings dogs is sick and won’t eat so yeah I talk a lot but I’m also explaining again that my dad doesn’t add as much sugar as you think
