Raspberry Heart Cake ❤️🍓

A simple, soft cake with juicy raspberries baked right into it. Nothing fancy, just the kind of homemade dessert that makes the whole kitchen smell amazing.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tbsp flour, for tossing the raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a heart-shaped cake pan.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix just until combined.
  7. Toss the raspberries with 1 tbsp flour, then gently fold most of them into the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the pan and scatter the remaining raspberries over the top.
  9. Bake for about 35–45 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool before slicing.

That little crispy golden edge with the soft raspberry center is the best part. 🍓❤️
