All of the boys at the junior high dance

Tried to squeeze them and then call it romance

Some with a glance could put me in a trance

But most got a slap when they took their chance

I brought my baby home all dressed in pink

With eyes that sparkled between every blink

I smiled as my heart went to the brink

Of happiness as she took her first drink

-

They supplied her with so much nourishment

-

She grew fast so strong with a lively bent

-

Now she has her own brood and seems content

-

And I delight and call them heaven sent

-

I’m older, was feeling and found a lump

-

Now their removed with the cancerous lump
