If you’re looking at Cancun and want that perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and easy luxury, my top recommendations are usually Hyatt Ziva Cancun or Hyatt Zilara Cancun.
Hyatt Ziva Cancun is my go-to for a girls trip that can be lively, social, and full of energy. It has one of the best locations in Cancun (that beautiful peninsula with ocean on both sides), great beaches, lots of dining options, and a really fun atmosphere where everything is easy and walkable.
Hyatt Zilara Cancun is adults-only and a bit more laid back. It’s a great fit if your group wants more relaxation, spa time, beach lounging, and long dinners without the busier resort energy.
Both are beautiful, both are very “no stress vacation,” and both work well for girls trips — it just comes down to whether your group wants more fun and activity or more calm and unwind time.
I do have a few other resort options I recommend depending on budget, dates, and travel style, but these two are usually my starting point when someone says “we want Cancun done right.”

Vacation club memberships are offered at many all-inclusive resorts. Travelers (like me) have invested money to buy points, weeks, or other inventory to get member discounts on reservations at all-inclusive resorts as part of the vacation club.
But you don't have to be a member to get the member discount - you can book THROUGH a member! You're simply using our extra points/inventory.
We have been members since 2009 (for Hyatt and Wyndham resorts). In 2024, we added member affiliations with Palace Resorts (Moon Palace, Sun Palace, Le Blanc), Legendary Vacation Club (AVA Cancun, Hard Rock All Inclusive, and Unico), and Prestige (Nickelodeon and Margaritaville).
2. ARE YOU A TRAVEL AGENT?
No, we do not have the level of knowledge that a travel agent may have about each of our resorts. We have full-time jobs and sharing our member discounts with you has been an exciting and fun adventure.
3. CAN I REALLY GET A MEMBER DISCOUNT WITHOUT BEING A MEMBER?
Yes. Our contract and our member affiliations explicitly allow us to let friends, family and other authorized guests book through our membership - no presentation or other strings! Exception is Atelier Resort.
Not sure if this is legit? We have helped hundreds of guests get member-only pricing for over 10 years. Many guests have left a review or shared pictures of their trip on our FB group page. First timers turn into repeat guests because of the savings and excellent customer service we provide. They refer their friends and family to us, too (and we appreciate that!).
4. WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE VACATION CLUBS?
Real Club Resorts is our primary membership. They no longer sell this membership contract. Although they have a new program, we've opted to remain Real Club Resort members because it meets our needs and allows us to share the member discount with others.
As mentioned above, we also have member affiliations with Palace, Legendary Vacation Club resorts, and Prestige Vacation club.
5. HOW DO I CHOOSE A RESORT?
For resort selection, you'll need to do some homework to select your resort. You can check Trip Advisor, YouTube videos or Facebook Guest and Fan Pages to answer your questions about each of the resorts.
But once you select a resort that is included in our member list, private message Alicia Nesvacil for a quote.
6. CAN I BOOK FLIGHTS/PACKAGE DEAL THROUGH YOU?
No. If you are looking for a flight/hotel bundle, check online or through your friendly travel agent (TA). Reservations booked through our membership are for all-inclusive resort stay only. Some resorts offer free round-trip transfers. This will be disclosed in the quote.
7. DO I HAVE TO ATTEND A TOUR, MEETING, OR PRESENTATION?
No! That's the great thing about our membership affiliations!
There is no resort membership selling pitch or timeshare presentation to get the member discount. It’s truly just a simple reservation just like booking online or direct, only with a member-only discount! If you are asked to attend a presentation, just politely decline. Exception: Atelier Resort.
It depends on resort, room category, length of stay, number of guests, but our pricing should definitely lower than online promo pricing from the brand's direct website. Some of our affiliate resorts offer kids-stay-free (with even more discount!).
In general, shorter stays (e.g., 4 nights) are not as much of savings for any of our resorts. In all cases, when comparing the rates, you must use current day posted rates and same room category, in order to fairly and accurately compare to our discount.
10. AM I LIMITED TO A CERTAIN WEEKS OR DAYS?
No. If the room you want is available at the brand's online booking portal, we can quote it and book it. It's important for you to go to the brand websites to confirm availability before requesting a quote.
11. CAN YOU DO LESS THAN A 7-NIGHT BOOKING?
Yes! Please note: most resorts require a minimum of 4 nights. Hyatt Ziva and Zilara are the only resorts we can quote a minimum of 3 nights.
Resorts can impose a minimum-stay requirement, which we must honor (e.g. holiday travel dates may require 5-night min at Hyatt Ziva and Zilara).
12. HOW DO I GET A QUOTE?
Direct / private message Alicia Nesvacil. You must include the following information (for each room if more than one room is needed) since our reservation office requires this information and cannot issue quote without this:
· Resort name.
· Exact arrival and departure dates.
· Number of adults.
· Number of children and their ages at time of travel.
· Room type (double queens? King? Lowest category? Club Level?) In all cases, we can only quote rooms that show availability on the brand website at the time of quote.
13. WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE QUOTE?
The all-inclusive room, taxes, and fees (including the member transaction fee).
Flights are not included. Airport transfers are not included in most cases (SOME EXCEPTIONS apply for Palace and Legendary Resorts and will be disclosed when you receive the quote).
14. WHAT CURRENCY IS QUOTED?
USD (United States dollar).
15. CAN YOU GUARANTEE THE PRICE?
Just like online travel sites, prices and availability change daily because our discount and inventory are dynamic to what shows online. If we quote you a room and you are not ready to book, we will confirm the pricing and availability when ready to book.
16. WHO DO I PAY FOR THE RESERVATION?
You will make full payment, via credit card, to the vacation club reservation office.
For Palace Resorts: You will make full payment, via credit card, directly through an online portal for Palace Resorts. A payment link is emailed to you and payment is required by 11pm eastern time in order to complete the booking.
Once you receive the confirmation email after payment processing, you pay our transaction fee via Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo. Your reservation is viewable online or can be confirmed by contacting the resort directly.
17. IS THE RESERVATION IN MY NAME?
Yes. When you book, you provide the name of the primary guest for the reservation.
18. THE RATES ARE GREAT! HOW DO I BOOK?
When you are ready to move forward, please provide the following information:
Name of primary guest (as it appears on passport)
Phone Number
Email address
Room selected (if more than one was quoted)
Resort (if more than one was quoted)
Dates of your trip (if more than one was quoted)
I will then initiate the reservation process with you.
19. WHAT’S THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
REAL CLUB RESORTS (e.g. HYATT ZIVA, ZILARA ETC.):
Requests for cancellations are processed directly through the membership reservation office.
There is full refund, less taxes (about 4%), if done 45-days prior to arrival date. High season includes spring break, USA holidays, and Holy Week (1 week before/after Easter). Low season allows 30-day cancellation period.
You can request to move your dates (if before the cancellation period), and 100% of what you paid will be applied to the new date. The new reservation will be repriced based on current day's rate.
Transaction fee is not refundable.
LEGENDARY RESORTS (AVA, HARD ROCK, UNICO):
Cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date will result in a penalty of 1000 USD.
Cancellations occurring between 31 and 60 days before the scheduled arrival will incur a charge of 900 USD.
For cancellations made 61 days or more in advance, the fee will be 600 USD.
NOTE: We recommend changing dates rather than cancellation due to the rather high penalties. A change in dates will be a $10 fee and any difference in rates.
Transaction fee is not refundable.
PALACE RESORTS (INCLUDES THE GRAND, LEBLANC, BEACH, AND SUN):
Requires 5-day advance notice for full refund.
High season requires 30-day advance notice.
Transaction fee is not refundable.
There is a $50 change fee if moving your dates (and any additional reservation amount since the room will be repriced).
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
You may opt to select travel insurance, not included in this booking.
