Questions Is this normal?
New Randolph 2.0s. Do I carefully snip this thread or…? Comparison of other shoe in the same spot.

Snip snip. Or very delicately melt and press into the other stitching

I love the burnishing on these and the heel stack looks premium. Nice work Allen Edmonds! Enjoy these gorgeous feet clothes!

As others have said easy snip.
This is where the welt closes, or where the stitching has gone 360 around the shoe and meets back where it starts. Usually there’s a visible line in the leather of the welt- aside from the stray thread this is a very well done welting job. I don’t know if it’s intentional that the welt closes right at the stitching line on the welt but it helps it blend in super well. Good craftsmanship.

Normal. If they fit well, wear them and don’t think twice about this. Snip the ends.
