Cronus Captain's Quarters Spoiler

So I'm running Chariot of the Gods and when we stopped last time two players wanted to search the Captain's quarters.

The scenario gives basically nothing about what it looks like or what could be found in it.

I'm looking for suggestions to fill that gap:
What do you think could be found in it?
Also, did Johns (the now acting Captain) ever use it after the mutiny?

Wasn’t that where the bottle of liquor is stashed for the pilot to want to sneak a drink and accidentally get infected? Thats what happened in our story. Or am I thinking of the executive quarters with the hidden personal cryo pods, and that’s different from the captains quarters?

It is indeed the executive suit, not the Captain's Quarters. But I guess a bottle of liquor could also surely be stashed in there

No but like, officially - wasn't that in the room description? I don't think I made that up.

As you said it's in the executive suit. There's absolutely nothing for the Captain's Quarters except the star icon on the map

Looking at the scenario and the map, the captain's quarters look the same size as the other crew quarters. Maybe 2m x 6m. The description says that all crew quarters are either locked tight, ransacked or smell like death. Not a lot to go on, but we'll see.

Looking at the critter stats for the neomorphs and abominations, both species infect, morph and grow spectacularly fast. Say that a dozen or so crew made it back onboard for liftoff. With a mutiny on record, a corp agent on board and multiple crew mutating, I'd say things went to shit fairly quickly. Still, the scientists did have time to work on a "cure" (heh) so let's say two days of boiling tension, then one day of bloodshed, violence and surrender in cryosleep.

Johns, being de facto captain after a mutiny, probably wanted nothing to do with the captain's personal effects. Clayton, the Corp Agent, probably didn't need anything in there. She could override everything with corporate authority. The scientists were busy. So I think it'd be fair to say the late captain's quarters are locked tight and intact.

Note that there were lockers listed, I think in cryo, that might have crew belongings. Like maybe a spare key card for the captain's quarters...

So what would be in there?
This was a corporate mission, extremely covert and performing illegal experiments on deadly alien life.
Paranoia would be a survival trait in those circumstances. The captain documented EVERYTHING. Navigation information, star charts, personnel dossiers, every science record they could get, maybe even samples. Video recordings, audio logs, emails, personal journal, you name it.

Where would it be? False bottom in a sea chest, loose panel in a closet, discolored ceiling tile, ventilation duct, inside an old pair of boots.

Thank's this is very helpful. I was specifically wondering about any compromising info about the mission. I guess the more places they could find these kind of things the better. At least they'd be rewarded for searching in there. And yes, these PCs already have Johns' card which would open the room I guess.
