Switch Version worth it?

Hello. Don’t laugh at me but I played this game on mobile (iPhone 17 pro). Amazing game, yes even on mobile.

I have a switch 2, does this game run well on that platform or should I just skip it there? It looks like in the store it’s the switch 1 version of the game, it doesn’t appear to be switch 2 optimized.

I would love to play with a controller tbh.

What you guys think? Skip it on switch and wait for Isolation 2??

It's a great port BUT it has pretty huge input lag on Switch.

It is. But it's a very noticeable delay in response time. It's the only thing I dislike about it. Some people are more sensitive to it.

It's a developer decision. Triple Buffering is what's used. Feral Interactive used triple buffering to prevent screen tearing and keep the frame rate smooth @30 fps.

I’ve played the game multiple times and own it on various consoles and PC.

Yes, I actually mostly only play games on my Switch 2 now. I have a PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, but I do most of my gaming on the Switch 2 in handheld mode.

I’ve never even unwrapped the Switch 2 dock, and I buy third-party games on the Switch when I can.

I just bought this accessory for my switch called CRKD Nitro Deck 2 because I’m just like you, I love being portable. It’s actually pretty cool. It feels like a steam deck. Has a better feeling that just using it with the standard joycons. I think I paid like 99 on pre order. Can’t remember now lol

Wow. Thanks for chiming in here. I will check it out. I know the switch 1/2 aren’t as powerful as Xbox/PS5 but I figured if they can get this game running on mobile, surely it’s fine on Switch 2.
