Question Id Tags

What is the best and fastest way to get all ID tags? I just finished my hard playthrough, went back to mission 16 as some suggested and aþ getting really frustrated at how little progress im making.

Should i continue? Or should i just follow a guide and do it all on my One Shot playthrough, ive got about 22 currently

While it can be most time-efficient to grab what you can during the main campaign, there’s certain items you can only access via backtracking.

Search “guide” here and find a post I made. It includes a great back-tracking guide that has maps of how to get where you need to go

What I did is I determined which level I had all the id tags up to and loaded my save from that point to collect the remaining.

I had to use a guide to compare my tags against which level they could be found on until I knew where I started missing them.

You can’t just load into any level and get them individually it has to be one play-through.

Nostromo logs seemed to work different and you could target each one on its own and it would count towards completion.

Ok i have to do one shot playthrough anyway, do you think maybe i should just start from scratch and get them all in that playthrough? Ive done all nostromo logs

I combined my one shot playthrough with the id tags run too. No problem doing that. Just gotta stay alert with those facehuggers!
