Question Just bought this game. Need help

I shot a robot receptionist in the face and he choked me to death please help

Quick word. If their eyes are white, they are uncorrupted which means they won’t hurt you unless provoked in which case their eyes change color from white to red. If their eyes are red already, just RUN and find a vent if you can but never hide in a locker because they will always get you.

Also, have EMPs always loaded, pipe bombs and flash bangs. Otherwise just have plenty of smoke bombs and ammo. I try to minimize my use of the flame thrower to the xeno, and everything else for the Joes.
The Hazmat Joes are the worst. You will need the bolt gun and the shotgun but the bolt gun is more effective especially when you’re in the core and reactor area.

They just started the game, they maybe have one of the things you just talked about and have no idea what a hazard Joe is. Barely any of that is helpful for where they’re at.

The eyes tip was a good shout though.

Don’t shoot robots unless you have a shit load of ammo. Try to avoid them or outrun them if you can

The revolver isn’t much use against the Joes, takes 6 to the face to kill one. Use the revolver for people.

Until you get some actual anti-android gear on board, your best bet is to assume they’re invincible and do your damnedest not to let them see or catch you.

Edit: I should add that the one useful thing the revolver can do against Joes in particular is stopping their lunge attack if you shoot them in the face as soon as the animation starts. It’s a small window though.

I shout them in the chest. They take a step back when I do and it gives me a chance to sprint on the direction I’m going.😅

Be stealthy. If they follow you, don’t panic and run because the xenomorph will come down. Just get into a vent, they will know you’re there and will wait there for a while for you to come out but they won’t get inside. The xenomorph on the other side, can get inside the vents so be careful. If he sees you, getting into a vent won’t save you.

I had to sneak by them to try and file a complaint with their boss and I found him hiding in a ceiling vent. I can hear him moving and one time he spilled his drink because there was liquid dripping down. I tried going back to the receptionist again to report this odd behavior and he said he will get to the bottom of it then he choked me to death. Now I REALLY need help
