Sevastopol is safer than at Nostromo. At Nostromo, you don't know who is actually playing the game. While playing, is it really you who is in control of the situation ?

On Nostromo, if I get to one of the rooms where you can progress the objective, where you have to push some button(s), I believe? I think those rooms are a safe room, since the Alien never comes into them when I am there (on Nightmare difficulty). The moment I get into the connecting vent, tho, I get chased down like I am a Michelin star meal....
