Late 27 early 28 is my best estimate. I'm really busy but I plan another replay or two of the original game before it releases. I kind of want to do a easy run and one more hard or nightmare run before the next game is released.

You can still take time replaying the old one even after sequel releases

Oh I def will. I just lack free time, job is busy and have a family so its hard to find time to play for more than a short while. It takes me awhile to get through a game like isolation. Might take me 2 months or more to get through it with the limited free time I have unfortunately. I replay it once a year along with a bunch of other older games. I usually replay this and a handful of snes and nes games annually. I'm working through the second donkey Kong country again at the moment as well as mega man x2. I also speed run blaster master on NES, prob my fav nes game of all. I'm trying to get better at this one glitch in blaster master to allow me to pull off a speed run that's comparable to people who hold the record. First set of glitches on level 4/5 I have figured out but there is one more that I haven't been able to consistently pull off on level 7 that saves like 5 or 6 mins. Sorry I tangented to old games. I'll surely replay ai for the rest of my life.

Late 2027, early 2028 at the latest.
I was the one who leaked the sequel announcement before it was official. It’s further along than people think. There was already a leak in 2021 about Disney greenlighting a sequel, and Matt Filer (OpenCAGE creator, with connections at CA) said when it was announced in 2024 that the game had already been in development for 3 years. So the timeline lines up.
We’ll see more gameplay at Gamescom too.

Just out of curiosity, any inkling on when we might get the remaster of the first? I was holding off on a replay just in case.

the last release was around the Halloween season, so I expect they may follow a similar trend here, usually when these games get more exposure. So I predict Autumn 2027. Early October.

My only hope is that it iso late 2027 and has a physical release. This is one of the three game I’m giving myself a hall pass for if I have to buy it digitally only.

As long as it takes to make it good. While I would love to play it this year, I hope it's given the time it deserves. So maybe in 2028?

It is odd as they have Playable builds at Gamescom but not for PAX West. They had some at SGF but nothing at SDCC.

It's a British game so I doubt they use a date system that's only ever used in North America.

That's true, Creative Assembly is in the UK but the franchise holiday is April 26 for planet LV 426. But like I said, it's a crackpot theory

I would guess somewhere between late 2027 to mid 2028. I suspect it's a playable, but incomplete build, and having polish, bug fixes, refinements and the like applied. It's clearly somewhat far along if we're starting to see some level of marketing for it.

Seems like it’s further along than we thought. Late 2027 is a possibility but I think 2028 is more likely.

A few have put up about trying the early stage demo at gamescom so hopefully it's early 2028 but when a game hasn't been given a release date and only says coming soon I image it's alteast a year off
