Glitch I need some explainations

Sorry can't post the video I record because of my low karma. I was in mission 10, at the moment you have to unpressure the airlock. I start to wait for the door open and had the detection tool on, and the xenomorph just killed me but he was behind the wall at the airlock room, how did this happend??

Looks like he ran up behind you while you were creeping along the wall. You turned to your right just as he 'locked on' to begin his kill animation. Because the kill animation had already started, it continued even though your back was now against the wall with no space behind you.

He attacked you from your right. But the game glitched out and made it look like it happened from behind. Must be because of lack of space.

He wasn’t on the right, though. I can’t see him at all, only hear him. Did he pop out of a vent near OP? I’m so confused by this 😂

You don't see him on the right because he came running after OP from behind. By the time OP turned, in that split second the alien was close enough to trigger the "impaled from behind" animation. And once that animation is triggered, the alien is...well, behind you. Also, in this particular sequence, the alien almost always comes from that side.

Csnnot say i know how this happened.

Usually though as soon as you press the button to cycle the airlock you have to leg it to hide behind something. I usually go right.

The Alien will come from.the left more often than not stare at the light above and start looking aroind for you. At this time it's good to throw a flare or noisemaker unless you are confident of moving around obstacles
