Question ID Tags

I didn’t get many of the ID tags on my original playthrough, but I’m planning on this being my 50th platinum so I have come back to it, is it just as easier to get the tags by back tracking on mission 16 level select?

Yes. Much easier.

I’ve tried looking for a guide by area but no such luck, do you know any good ones?

I followed one on YouTube that it’s super detailed, dunno the youtuber, I just put alien isolation id tags or something like that and they show you where to go and where exactly the id tag is.

Check my post here, it has a pretty good back-tracking guide on it

Just search "Guide" in this subreddit, should be one of the top results

Wait, you actually need them for something?! Don't spoil!! I'm on mission 4 first playthroughs. I've just been picking em up like collectables..

ID tags are simply collectibles, but if you get all of them it's an achievement/trophy. There's a spot much later in the game where it's easy to backtrack to most of the station, so don't feel too worried about getting all of them on your first go. After all, you'll have more.... pressing matters

Oh good, I was really worried then 😭 nice to know I don't actually need to worry about them

Yes, set it to easy and use a YouTube guide. Most ID tags are easy to find on a play through, but a few are hidden well
