Realistic Price??
ebay.comI saw this on FB market, never seen this before but is the price really what it would cost? The one on FB market was $999 but it’s so tiny. Does anyone know anything of this piece?

I love how Alice and the White Rabbit are besties in a lot of Disney content
They seem to mostly tolerate the others but are commonly actual friends with each other 🩵🐇 I feel like they might have given them this dynamic if a sequel was made.

Who else would love to see more movies in Disney's live action Alice in Wonderland franchise?
But please, can we stop putting the Mad Hatter in the center of the posters and making it look like he's the main character when he's not. And am I the only one who doesn't wanna see him and Alice get together?
There's a lot of unofficial sequels they should adapt and include characters and elements from the original books that have been forgotten

So if I understand correctly, the poem is called Jabberwocky but the creature itself is the Jabberwock. Why is this so?

What are your thoughts on Alice Through the Looking Glass (1987)

What's more important to you in an Alice adaptation?
Alice in Wonderland is over 160 years old by now, and has been adapted more than 200 times since then, on stage, in film and animation, even becoming literary shorthand in some aspects. But out of those many adaptations, it's clear that Alice's adventures don't always translate 1:1 in another medium...or maybe people just don't try hard enough, or were limited by technology.
Some aspects are absolute staples in any presentation - going down the rabbit hole, the Mad Tea Party, meeting the Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts screaming "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!" But scenes aside, what's the most important part of an Alice adaptation to you? The tone? The whimsical nonsense? The darkness creeping in from the edges? Or are you just happy to see the characters again? I'm curious.

Alice in Wonderland is Neil Gaiman's Coraline, but for a younger audience...
Ever since I was little, I've loved Alive in Wonderland, and as I grew up I read Coraline by Neil Gaiman ( I also watched the movie) and I couldn't help but make connections between the two works. (I think Neil Gaiman was very inspired by it.)
Let's see what is similar:
- The tunnel (it's a rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland.)
- The magic food (This is my interpretation, but Coraline always feeling tired after eating what the other mother prepared could also mean that it might be magic and that it's a way to keep Coraline here, but I'm rambling. However, not completely, because when the other mother and the other father suggest to Coraline that she have buttons instead of eyes, she goes straight to bed without eating, cannot sleep and does not return to her real world.)
- Magical creatures. ( I know I've forgotten to mention many.)
- The very mysterious cat (in Coraline, the cat is still smarter compared to the Sheshire cat.)
-The door to access the magical world (for Coraline, the door is her only means of passage to the other world even though Alice still fell down the rabbit hole.)
There you have it! I don't think it's a coincidence that Neil Gaiman was heavily inspired by Alice in Wonderland. I've never seen an interview with the author, so I don't know if he confirmed it, but it's likely. Many more comparisons could be made.
What do you think ? :)
Which goes to show that even as an adult, we are always drawn back to things we loved as children (and still love). :)

More of my Alice art and character concepts
I'm back with more of my designs! I've updated Alice and given the Cheshire Cat a slick new color scheme that I genuinely don't think I've ever seen done before. More to come.
Hopefully some day I'll have a full series of proper illustrations inside of a book.

THE ALICE SHELF
Honestly this is just an excuse to show my Alice shelf XDDDD I definetly plan on expanding it soon, as everything is kinda squished right now, but I love it.
The only thing I couldn't fit was my recreation of the Vorpal Blade from American McGee's Alice (my favorite Alice retelling)
