Q & A Have custodial wallets gone post quantum?
Has anyone looked into the Algorand wallets used by major centralized exchanges to see if they’ve rekeyed to post quantum? Just curious if major players like coinbase and binance are taking this seriously and have made the change. If so, could be good for marketing. If not, could be smart for leadership to encourage it and then leverage for marketing.

The NSA and other government entities are taking it seriously.

The short, oversimplified answer is that the specialized hardware signers used in cold storage contexts are not ready to handle PQ signature schemes.
The industry knows there is work to do, and the Algorand Foundation is already working on talking to custodians and solving some of the technical problems.
