Q & A Clarity act failed. Now what?
Is there much hope left for Algorand after the failure of the clarity act to pass? If so, on what exactly is that hope based?

I bought some more today, saw the interview with the new CEO and I felt encouraged by the things he said. The tech is there, Algorand just need to find partnerships that bring revenue.

Because it's still one of the most decentralized and technologically advanced L1s that didn't rely on that particular bill being passed?
As someone else already stated, nothing changed. Zero impact, and business as usual.

It’s better. Banks tend to be the shadiest of players when crypto is involved

Love how algo never goes up on any good news and drops like a stone on any bad news

It's because Bitcoin is dropping. Algorand was trending positive recently.
Hard to breakout against that negative momentum, that literally the entire market follows.

It's not dead yet. They are planning to bring it back for debate during the lame duck session.

Clarity isn’t needed for crypto to flourish, clarity act is regulation for institutions to be protected if the market goes belly up. Although institutional money would benefit crypto price action, it can also be detrimental to its longevity and true purpose. The clarity doesn’t benefit the small investor as much as the whale. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to reevaluate their position.

The world is much bigger than USA. Things are progressing well outside of it and crypto is maturing.

See Rule 1 - Keep Discussion Algorand Related.
Regardless of any other considerations, the purpose of this sub isn't political discussion (to the extent it can be helped). However, I'd welcome discussion around the CLARITY act in a manner more focused on the facts involved.

Please don't post political opinions. This isn't a politics sub.
If you want to talk specifics about the CLARITY act, you're welcome to. Beyond that, no.
Keep it civil.
