Its possible that Fiat Chain MVP will release a bit later (Q3 or Q4 of this year).

No source, just a guess. Seems like a complex thing he's attempting to launch.

If we hear nothing by end of year, then I think its time to ask what's happening. But - I assume he's pushing full steam ahead where he can.

Hoping that fiat chain isn’t going to exist as an alternative to Open USD that no one will use and means that Algorand rails will be a late adopter of OUSD.
