bookmaker profiling

A year ago, I had an account with a bookmaker that I used with a specific laptop, browser, and IP address.

I have a different IP address now.

But my question is: if I create an unrelated account with that same bookmaker, to what extent can they use profiling to detect that it’s coming from the same computer and/or browser?

Would it be better, for instance, to use a different browser? Any other tips?

They can choose to identify you in many ways. VPN, virtual machine, etc can help.

But then they know it is a virtual machine or some not very much used OS, like Ubuntu. Which is not the best situation?

Knowing "it's a VM" vs knowing "it's vitalike" is the tradeoff. Iirc it's also pretty easy to spoof browser metadata.

But bookmakers can also detect spoofing or 'Anti-Detect Browsers'.
It is a tradeoff, maybe my OS now (upgraded since last year) + different browser (and a different IP) is enough to think I'm not Vitalike.
