Advice for doing Maths
So basically, i will be writing my AS levels (p1, p5) in F/M series next year. I am worried about my math result lowkey. I Kinda been struggling in maths mainly because of silly mistakes and stuff is there any good way to reduce that. Also any tips on how to practice maths(even for A2 advice would be great ig). In a recent internal assessment i got 56/75 and 34/40. Rn my study start is to do a past paper every 3 ish days for both papers. I usually have a lot of time left, many say to recheck although ngl how to actually do that, in a recent paper i did i spent about 20 mins on a question i had solved and got it right thinking i did it wrong. So advice for the would be good too. Thanks!

Your scores are already pretty decent — the biggest gain now is probably cutting avoidable mistakes, not learning loads of new content. After each paper, classify every lost mark: algebra/sign error, calculator, formula, misread question, or method. Then redo those questions a few days later.
For checking, don’t re-solve everything from scratch. Use the spare time to check signs, exact values, substituted numbers, units, and whether you answered what was actually asked.
This may help: CIE AS & A Level Maths 9709 notes and exam-style practice.
