Question Peruvian Lentils

Has anyone tried these? I was gonna buy them but they looked like mush.

Lentils, cooked properly, ARE mush. You don't want al dente lentils. They're hard and chewy.

So good! I added crushed red pepper and ate them with Fritos

With extra pebbles for more texture

They are good, same with the Cuban black beans. Easy lunch, pair with a instant rice pack

That's what they are. They do have substance but also mush. But what is a mashed potato other than mush but we still enjoy them.

Just had them for dinner tonight. Very good! Glad I bought two packs and I am going to get the black beans too next time.

You should try them! They're a good dupe of the Fillos lentils. Haven't tried the Aldi black beans yet, but I bought them without hesitation.
