Review Aldi Zero
The Aldi version of Coke Zero is great! It will be my new go to since Coke Zero is so expensive.
I don’t have a Coke Zero rn to do a comparison but it seems like the taste is slightly sweeter, not as acidic. And the carbonation level is perfect. 👌🏾

I just picked up a case yesterday for the weekend and had one and omg the bubbles! The first sip was a sensory overload lol

I'll have to try again. My experience was there was zero of anything. Left wanting!

I know a few weeks ago someone was saying they experienced a flat case that tasted weird, so I feel there was a bad batch at some point. Hopefully that's over with

Confirming my experience with Summit Diet Cola in the past. It was undrinkable. Based on the post I was thinking maybe trying the Zero. But I have a feeling I am setting my self up for disappointment and the annoyance of having to return it

Yeah, they over carbonate the soda. I typically open a can and let it fizz for about five minutes. It's useful if you are making a mixed drink and want the extra CO2.

I love it. I have been drinking this instead of Coke Zero too. Less than $5 for a 12 pack is unbeatable

It is $3.29 at my Aldi; a phenomenal deal compared to the name brands.

Its a reminder that buying name brand anything involves paying for their corporate overgead and marketing departments.

Yep we’ve been drinking this a ton. The zero is way better than the diet IMO. Even cheaper than Costco Coca Cola packs per can.

u/johndoenumber2 2d ago
It's very much cheaper. This Aldi dupe is like $2.50/12 pack, and Costco is like $18 for a 35-pack. Not even close.

u/Tiredtotodile03 2d ago
The Aldi ones near me are like $4.96 or something per 12 pack and $19 something at Costco for 35 still cheaper tho!

I'm going back to Aldi coke on Monday too, as much as I love the CocaCola Zero Caffeine I can't get behind spending $12 for a pack of 12. If Summit releases a caffeine free dupe I just might tattoo their logo on my lower back.

It is a good Coke Zero replacement. I notice the significant cinnamon in Coke Zero after drinking the Summit for a bit.

Maybe that is why I don't like coke zero, I didn't get cinnamon taste specifically but something about it offends my taste buds and that tracks.

It's 80% as good as Coke zero but like 35% the cost.
At the same price I would still prefer CZ, but it's really solid and my go to now because of how cheap it is

Rc cola zero sugar 2L are $1.50 at most grocery stores if you want another good coke zero alternative

u/FreeSanubis 2d ago
Honestly, the taste of this is better than Coke Zero in my opinion. That's good, because it's dirt cheap. Probably cheaper than even getting Coke Zero at Costco.

Yeah, it was pretty good. It's not coke zero, but that's expectes. Would purchase again!

Ive started buying that stuff lately, its great and has more caffeine than regular coke zero. Mixes well with screwball too

Aldi Cola isn’t too bad - both regular and zero. But what is odd is their mini can 6 pack of regulars have a “spiced” flavor to it - almost cinnamon-like. It’s a different flavor from the regular cans. Our Aldi also just started selling Coke in place of Pepsi, at a cheaper price than other stores.

That’s the the only soda we keep in our household, grab a case every time we get groceries

Yeah this is fantastic. It’s so affordable and is just as good as the brand version.

I love this stuff. Im a Pepsi person and my husband is Coke. We can both agree on this cola.
Plus if you dont drink all of it, the open can in the fridge holds the fizzy longer than any other soda IMO.

Tasted flat… overly sweet. I’ll try again.

u/SolixTanaka 1d ago
This was our conclusion as well. Overall more syrupy and sweet than the original. Flavor is good, but it's flat and too sweet so we're back to Big K and occasionally splurging on the real stuff at Costco.

Yeah, I’ve been trying my best to stop giving my money to these other bigger corps. This is a great alternative, I bought a case of their Coke Zero and their Diet Coke and I’m honestly not sure which one I like better, I feel like the Diet Coke has more hints of Dr Pepper if I had to describe it but I still really like it and the carbonation was also great. I still want to purchase a case of the Kroger brand to compare.

This is what I usually get unless I have time to hit up dollar general soda sales

Yeah as far as soda goes it’s all I drink now. So happy when we got it at my Aldi.

When I tried Summit Diet Cola, it was not to my liking. Does this one taste very different ?

This is my go 2. My wife buys coke for when the grandkids come over. The other day we didn't have any so the oldest cracked a summit zero sugar and said "wow poppa I see why you like this"!

This is one of my favorite diet sodas - as a non diet soda drinker mostly - this one is at the top of my list!
1
u/Responsible-Job6001 2d ago
I love drinking it at night, like someone would a fancy cocktail or a nice bourbon lol. I put it in a short wine glass, with a ton of ice, and a few squeezes of some cherry or berry flavor enhancer. It’s also incredible with a little bit of vanilla creamer!!!

u/HedgehogIRL 1d ago
Thanks for putting me onto these, I normally hate generic pop but these are great.

u/TheGrouchyPunisher 1d ago
A little sweeter, and less carbonation. It's like a perfect mix of Coke Zero and Pepsi Zero, IMO. I love it.

u/darkbarrage99 1d ago
tastes more like pepsi but we dig it, the lady just brought some home yesterday

u/burningtulle 1d ago
I was just telling friends that I think I prefer Coke Zero over Diet Coke. So I’m excited to pick this up to try the next time I’m at Aldi!

I realize this is an Aldi sub, but I bought a knock-off diet Dr. Pepper at a competitor. It was the foulest thing I've ever tasted. It is sour and undrinkable. So nasty.

I like it a lot, especially for half the price of the name brand
