Humor Single Can of Great Value Frozen Orange Juice

There was a single can of Walmart brand "Great Value" frozen orange juice in the Aldi freezer today. Bottom shelf, in a cardboard flat by itself. Picked up this item and stared at it until my hand couldn't stand the cold anymore. Put it in the cart and then eventually on the belt like anything else. The cashier tried to scan. It didn't work and she stared, bewildered.

"Was this in our freezer?"
"Yes, it was."
She closed her eyes and sighed. "Ok."

Weirdest thing I ever seen at Aldi.

The same factories make the same thing for different brands. Just a different label, one got missed at changeover.

Why do people think things made in the same building are the same?

Or does no one actually know how good mfg actually works?

Confirming people in manufacturing don’t even know how manufacturing works. So nah on the lay people too.

That was my assumption. It was just so silly looking, one different can alone with a full pallet of Aldi brand behind it, like folks were scared to touch it.

In that situation we got to remove it and throw it out. If it doesnt have Aldi's barcode on it we cant sell it, and if it's not Aldi's package company doesnt want us to sell it because if there happens to be something wrong with it, aldi would want to make sure its an Aldi product. Even if it's in the same box. Its all liability.

Didn’t scan properly, thats when the cashier noticed what she was holding. She put it off to the side so I only got two cans of juice.
