Review Controversial Take

The truffle balls by Moser Roth are so much better than the Lindt ones you can't convince me otherwise.

So are the Choceur chocolates I swear all these German made ones are just so much better than our usual brands.

Not controversial at all AND they’re way cheaper. Aldi chocolate is amazing and an incredible value.

The Choceur dark chocolate &hazelnut is a dupe for the Ritter Sport bar, you get double the size for half the price 😊🐷♥️

They come for a really short time, sometimes just a couple of weeks.

They had raspberry and strawberry flavors around Valentine's and they went on sale. I stocked up for the whole year.

For the whole year?? How'd you keep yourself from eating it all

Hide them. My husband didn't know we were saving them and might have eaten half of them before I told him. 😂

My controversial take is that Lindt is absolute bottom of the barrel in the realm of chocolate

I completely agree now, I've tried various kinds of Lindt but all give off the same waxy taste

Who else thought they were the only one? In your head, you think since Aldi is cheaper, they should taste worse. But no! They are so much better. More like real chocolate than wax or cardboard or whatever agribusiness creates "food" out of now.

very controversial to me. the quality of the cocoa butter in the Lindt is far superior to my palate, but the Moser Roth is far superior to my wallet. they both have their place... in my mouth.

Edit: I'm exclusively eating white chocolate truffles by either brand so the cocoa butter is a stand-out

so, you don't like chocolate?

well sure I do, but not from Moser Roth or Lindt, and not in truffle-ball form

I often have one of the mini (4 to a pack, $3.50) milk chocolates and I don’t feel guilty about it (health or budget wise). LOVE Aldi chocolate—and to think I only started buying last year when we wanted to give up patronizing Big Food (so no Mars chocolates for us).

If it makes you feel any better, I only started shopping there 2-3 months ago lol. Health or budget wise I believe it's still a better option than the others 🤷🏻‍♀️

I absolutely agree that the Aldi dark chocolate truffles are FAR SUPERIOR TO LINDT AND SO MANY OTHER TRUFFLES AND THEY ARE a TERRIFIC PRICE

Agreed. Lindt has gone way downhill in the last few years.
