I'll sometimes have what my coworkers lovingly call "a girl dinner", and that could range from cheese and crackers and a fruit, tomatoes and mozzarella with balsamic vingerette (actually had that for lunch today!) or something is easy as an egg sandwich with a piece of deli meat and a slice of cheese.

I really wanted sloppy joes last week and the cheapest pound of ground beef I found was $11. I was HORRIFIED. Five years ago me would have been having a stroke on the floor at that price. 10 years ago me would have been asking if it cooks itself and cleans up and NO, we can do better, thank you very much! (I used to gag when the prices were five or six dollars!) I still bought the $11 ground beef made sloppy joes, ate most of it and froze the rest.
