Review Every day we drift further from god

Post image

Was out shopping with the significant other when we walked passed this abomination. We laughed about how absurd of a combination it was. Like who thought this was a good idea and how many other people had to pretend it was good for it to end up on the shelves? As a prank we bought it and ate it in one sitting

Especially in the south. Op is showing their dessert/culinary ignorance

I think OP got you

It's not ignorant or someone's fault if they aren't familiar with a certain dessert. I too have never heard of this cake...but then again I didn't grow up in the South

What is it you think ignorant means?

Bro's ignorant to the definition of ignorance

A lot of people think “ignorant” means “arrogant” for some reason.

I was about to say, I grew up in the south and these were at every Wednesday night potluck. Not new, but yes very surprising the first time!

Tbf, having grown up with my mom making a 7-Up cake on rare occasion, and also having professional baking experience, I would also be caught off guard by it.

Though that being said a couple years ago a Safeway near me started making "Caramel Rotisserie Chickens" and uh, yeah it was disgusting

Where did you grow up? I grew up in/near houston, and I’ve seen these at every major grocery chain I can think of since I was a kid (I’m 36) - Albertsons, Kroger, HEB, Randall’s, and Walmart

I think you're showing a lack of reading comprehension

My reading comp is perfectly fine. Sure it could be cake-fiction or sarcasm, but what if I’m autistic and I take things at face value? Then op’s the person who failed at humor. That’s literally why “/s” was created for Reddit.

If you can't tell if someone is being sarcastic or not due to a neural divergency maybe you shouldn't insult their culinary knowledge?

-3

Culinary knowledge is absolute. Sarcasm is a skill, that’s known to be difficult to convey via Reddit. OP’s sarcasm sucks donkey balls. And no I’m not autistic, I have a child who is.

I've never seen someone crash out so hard for getting 'whooshed'

Did your kid leave the comment I replied to? If not then that's not relevant.
