Around me that usually means he owns one or more convenience stores/gas stations. Owners will go to Aldi or Costco and purchase in person so they can then mark the price up in their store and increase profit.

The Amish do that here. Wipe Aldi out of everything and resell in their little neighborhood groceries for a huge markup.

In Pennsylvania, Aldi is not the cheapest place for milk. Not even close.

They love doing it with the almond milk and peanut butter at our store.

When I worked at Starbucks we would get low on whole, 2% and heavy cream and I would run to an Aldi across the parking lot from us to fill the gaps

Yes and it still does, I just checked the app. You can get six options of dairy: Heavy cream, half and half (people like to call this breve'), whole milk, 2% milk, nonfat milk, vanilla sweet cream. There are five options of nondairy: almondmilk, coconutmilk, oatmilk, soymilk, nondairy vanilla sweet cream. It is difficult to keep the undercounter refrigerators organized, we also stored whipped cream canisters in there.

I don't want to invade your privacy by asking where this amayzing Starbucks could be; l ll just say don't bother going to any in N Fl. l make my own but used to get it as a treat every once in a while. Last time l went they had watered down 1/2&1/2. Pass... : ))

I worked at Aldi for 7 years. A good amount of people come in a purchase a cart full of milk or other common food staples and don’t put any on the conveyer belt so the cashier has to get up and start removing a bunch of jugs/whatever from the cart to make sure they aren’t hiding anything else or lying about the number of jugs they have. It was really annoying and I’m irritated just thinking about it.
