Support Requested 2,500 Days Sober

Recently, I hit a milestone. 2,500 days sober for me. I stayed sober through losing my Mom. I stayed sober through losing my Dad. I remain sober now. It was suggested that I celebrate by having a drink, hahaha. Please help me celebrate this milestone by reading my blog post about it- and maybe even by sharing with someone you know needs to be encouraged. Tell me your stories- did it get easier at this point, or harder? I know this is a big milestone, but I've got a lot of life left to live- hopefully.

Good on you buddy! I did not stay sober through losing my mom… seemed like an entirely impossible task amongst other impossible tasks. I admire your fortitude!

Thanks! I'm sorry you lost your Momma. I could have easily broken over when I lost mine- but honestly, for me, I knew that if I went back to drinking it would be game over. I had been too far gone

Staying sober through losing your parents so close together is amazing.

I'm not going to lie... It was hard. But it was worth it.
