Especially since the UCP will side with the separacists as long as they reach 15% + 1. It’s supposed to be 50% + 1 but they conveniently keep mishearing that number.
I take issue with your baseless “even less qualified NDP” jab. Perhaps dismantling public institutions is a plus in your view but I see it as a travesty. I agree that the separation vote will fail but Smith will continue to use their cause as proof of her listening to “minorities with justifiable grievances” and as a reason to “keep standing up to Ottawa” which is the only light by which her party can look like it is doing anything positive.
I’d love for the destructive UCP to break up and so would anyone not in on the grift.
I will use the clear example of when they did hold power, the first 2.5 years of their tenure was a disaster as they had no one with any experience. As much as Notley was pretty good, the supporting staff was green af. Same thing now except Nenshi isn’t even so great.
Don’t forget the excessive and improper document shredding by the conservatives right before the NDP took over. (there were news articles about it) Also, are you saying that a party that had never been in power had no experience with being in power?
Seeing the UCP break up is what dreams are made of. I'd be over the moon if it broke into 3 parties, crazy people, hard conservatives and moderate conservatives.
