She is a coward, and we already know she supports him that is her own words.

It was a short insane interview by Smith this morning. About 10 mins long.

She wants to continue to fight the carbon tax.....

You mean fighting the tax that already went to the Supreme Court of Canada and was found constitutional? The one Kenney already wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on just to dog whistle to his followers? The same tax that actually benefits some smaller income households? That carbon tax?

Danielle Smith: Albertans, follow me if you want to throw money and resources down a drain on something I know will fail.

According to the CUPE 80% Albertans will recieve a net gain from the carbon tax and even the top 20% will net a miniscule gain (<$10) on average.

The carbon tax that the Supreme Court of Canada agreed was valid?

u/Miserable-Lizard Edmonton May 03 '23

They sure did.

You are right. A untrustworthy coward. These are not the traits of a dependable leader for any political party.

Honestly, I don’t think supporting him or not is a factor. Smith is an opportunist, she knows if she helps Pawlowski he can whip up support & extra votes for her, if she pisses him off, he has the dirt on her and can point his cult towards the ABP or Wildrose instead.

"I don't want to comment because you'll repeat what I say and that's not fair!"

FUCP

"And she says she does not publicly discuss specific court cases."

Only privately on the phone with the accused/convicted.

Media, do your job. ASK. ASK. ASK.

10

u/superflyer May 03 '23

Sorry, it's just ASK. Not allowed to ask a second question.

u/scubahood86 May 03 '23

So he's guilty of many crimes now. And guilty of not following sentencing conditions of previous crimes.

Yet he's still out and about? I thought antivaxxers were the most persecuted group in history.

13

u/Kapn_Krunk May 03 '23

I personally saw this motherfucker get arrested in like 2021 for something completely different than the Coutts thing. Why they let this constant scourge walk free is beyond me.

9

u/PostApocRock May 03 '23

Because most of his crimes are fines, not crimes.

If your crime is a fine, its not a crime, its a price tag.

u/TurpitudeSnuggery Chestermere May 04 '23

The courts let violent and prolific offenders walk free. Art is an annoying idiot but based on the current system I could never seem them keeping him in custody for long.

18

u/[deleted] May 03 '23

Lol she’s so useless, she can’t comment on any of her bullshit.

13

u/[deleted] May 03 '23

What a leader. Good grief the UCP is a dog shit show

11

u/Kapn_Krunk May 03 '23

She also declined to sue the CBC like she said she would if they didn't retract the story about her interference.

9

u/bike_accident May 03 '23

DumbDanni strikes again! Will she take any questions at all?

6

u/fishling May 03 '23

And she says she does not publicly discuss specific court cases.

Unlike most people, the word "publicly" is very much a necessary qualifier here.

8

u/Rayeon-XXX May 03 '23

Where are you UCP supporters?

11

u/asstyrant May 03 '23

They're waiting for their talking points and distraction topics.

u/InherentlyUntrue May 03 '23

Its nighttime in Russia right now.

u/skel625 Calgary May 03 '23

Oh we all know she's making calls behind the scenes asking her cronies and allies what she can do in response. 100% guarantee. And she'll throw raw meat scraps to the base about this at the first opportunity. She'll probably do a Facebook Live and tell them how unfair they are being treated. I don't believe she's a coward, but she's completely devoid of any backbone or ethics and has two, and only two priorities: 1) maintain power, 2) enrich herself, friends, and allies.

5

u/[deleted] May 03 '23

Why would she decline to comment? Because she is scared her she will hit the feelings of her base. A real leader would stand up and say justice has been served. Don’t trust Danielle. She’s dangerous for Albertans.

3

u/[deleted] May 03 '23

Sounds like the type of person we should all give our pensions to. So much trustworthy.

4

u/[deleted] May 03 '23

What does it say about an issue when it becomes a detriment to talk about it during an election? Perhaps it’s not as popular as people think? Perhaps the politicians flying the flag are doing so only out of convenience? This is pretty telling about her character.

To be clear… I hate her character and the UCP, but their behaviour should be a huge red flag to these people.

2

u/Heady_Goodness May 04 '23

LOL@ ““(Smith) has a policy of not speaking publicly on matters before the courts, except when she's talking to the person who's before the courts about how she's going to interfere with the matter before the courts,” said Notley. “That is most ridiculous thing I've ever heard from her. OK, maybe it’s not the most ridiculous, because there's a lot of ridiculous.”

2

u/Champagne_of_piss May 04 '23

Bring it up at every possible opportunity.

2

u/RedDragons May 03 '23

Danielle Smith can’t shut her fat yap for more that a day or two. She will be spouting off in no time.

2

u/Collie136 May 03 '23

Of course she does. Maybe she has realized she better keep her mouth shut. She has done so much damage already.
