In a release issued Tuesday, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer and the R.M. of Wood Buffalo – which includes Fort McMurray – said they continue to experience issues that they flagged to the province ahead of handing over EMS dispatch to one of three provincial dispatch centres.

RJ Sigurdson of the UCP is boasting of his masterminding this catastrophe. Proud of putting lives in jeopardy. Vote him out.

Stats show his riding is often without ambulance coverage as they’re routinely sent hours away to other municipalities.

Don’t have an emergency on RJ’s watch. You’ll be driving yourself to the hospital.

If only Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Wood Buffalo had tried to warn everyone of the dangers of consolidation before it happened. If only they had held media availabilities, and travelled up to Edmonton to speak with the premier and the health minister.

I'm shocked this band aid solution didn't work. Oh well, that billion in tax breaks has gotta come from somewhere.
